Flying High Hot Air Balloon Event

Elvisa from Fitzroy

A free family event!
In collaboration with Sustainable Taranaki, the Flying High Charitable Trust is bringing their hot air balloon to Taranaki this April 2021. The tour aims to promote and inspire sustainable innovation. The three events will provide an introduction and pathway for kids and their families to live more sustainably, create positive change for future generations, and foster innovation.

Energy, transport, waste, sustainable living and sustainable communities are just some of the themes that aeronaut, Andrew Parker, will chat about to inspire children and their families to think about how they can help to create a sustainable future for generations.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
