Egmont Village Mid Winter Fun Run 2021
The 10th Egmont Village Mid Winter Fun Run & Walk on Sunday, 27 June 2021 has something for everyone with 3km, 5km, 7km and 10km fun run and walk events.
The courses are on road and well-surfaced farm races. Come and enjoy the country atmosphere and hospitality.
10km walkers start 9.30am and everyone else at 10.00am. Prizegiving kicks off at 11.45am and includes spot prizes. Plus there is a BBQ, tea, coffee and more for sale.
This event is a fundraiser for Egmont Village School.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
