Are you a new member of New Plymouth Club or have you just moved into New Plymouth ? Do you love dancing ? We are one of the longest operating independent Modern jive Clubs in New Zealand . We are a community based not for profit organisation. If you and your partner are looking to lean a new skill and don't want the formality that other dance styles offer, then this style would be for you. Our beginners lessons start on Thursday Nights at 7:30pm at the New Plymouth club here in town. If you have a group of friends to share this experience with we will run a special 4 week block course catering especially for you and your group. We'll cover all the basics to get you out and about dancing to your favourite party style music in no time at all. Scam Alert: Bank cold calls
ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.
🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.
Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.
