Appears they have put their foot in it again. Nobody doubts plenty of money has been set aside for work required and possibly carried out but did the rate payers get value for money??? I see the Auckland Mayor is critical of the amount spent on cones and traffic safety - $63million. This work has been reputed to double the cost. How much has the NPDC wasted on over the top cones and safety management. We cannot afford to pay for people to sit around on the posteriors. This appears to be a continuing issue and needs addressing. Concerned citizen - Charles Le Breton
