Concerto & Aria Competition
The Taranaki Symphony Orchestra TSO) is hosting a competition for our most inspirational musicians in the region, to perform a movement from a concerto or to sing an Aria. From the competitors TSO will choose a number to then perform their chosen piece of music accompanied by the Orchestra at a Student Stars concert in August.
This competition is at the Methodist Centre this Saturday 6th April.
The public is invited, details on the attached poster along with times for each session.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
