Parking meters
Hearing more and more people saying the parking meters in New Plymouth are not accepting cash, or they are taking the money and not giving time. Not everyone has the app and paying by card costs extra. I think if NPDC can’t fix these we need to just park and put a note in the window saying meter out of order. Also it is not just one meter all the ones near the Huatoki Plaza are saying this.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
