The OK Boomers, Lunchtime concert, Wednesday 7th September
The OK Boomers will perform at the Methodist Centre (Whiteley Memorial Church) on Wednesday 7th September at 12.15 pm.
This is part of the weekly Lunchtime Concert Series held every Wednesday.
The OK Boomers is a five-piece music group formed on Zoom under lockdown in 2020. The group comprises Andy Bassett , Tony Hansen, Bev Tatham, Wayne Morris, and Peter Hickey.
They play a combination of vocal harmonies, guitar, ukulele, banjo, bass, saxophone and percussion. Despite the implications of their name, their music is not bound by genre or time – anything from John Fogerty to Lil Nas X, Herbie Hancock to Tami Neilson.
Entry is free but a Koha is appreciated. Bring a friend and some lunch and relax to some lovely music.
