Not only do we have a Air-port terminal being built unnessacaly now, and with a name no one understands, but now it is exposed that the very people we pay to control spending in the district, have been actually gorging themselves on air-travel perk's. Amongst the scam's costs is the "ART's" add on costs,featuring prominently, yet again. What the hell has the arts and the Len Lye Centre got to do with the core local govt business? Why is it that Rate Payers money is still being used for frivolous and unnessacary wants that this Council still carry's on with? When the A.G. gets his teeth into the Yarrow Stadium fiasco, I pray then he notices the other wayward obsessions with spending other peoples hard earned money that this NPDC is set upon. "Let Us Pray!"
Passengers on a flight from Auckland to New Plymouth are at risk of catching measles after travelling with someone with the illness.
The person was on Air New Zealand flight NZ5307, which departed Auckland at 10.05am on Sunday, July 7 and landed at New Plymouth Airport at 10.55am.

The person was on Air New Zealand flight NZ5307, which departed Auckland at 10.05am on Sunday, July 7 and landed at New Plymouth Airport at 10.55am.
Auckland Regional Public Health Service clinical director Dr Julia Peters said anyone who may have been in contact with the person in the departure area of Auckland Airport's domestic terminal around the time of the flight should watch for signs of measles.
