Katie Watson, Lunchtime Concert, Wednesday 11th October

Chris from Lynmouth - Moturoa

Katie Watson (Vocal and piano) will be performing at the regular lunchtime concerts this Wednesday 4th October at Methodist Central (Whiteley Memorial Church), from 12.15pm. Katie is a member of Jam Bandits, a New Plymouth based cover band who played at the lunchtime concert series in June this year.
She is a lifelong vocalist who finally learned to self-accompany during the 2020 lockdowns. She is excited to perform her first solo concert with a range of jazz and pop covers including Adele, Carole King and Billy Joel. Koha appreciated

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
