Rubbish Bins in Heta Rd
Anyone else noticed rubbish in their yellow top bins today not belonging to them. Just went to put some more rubbish in my bin before it is collected, only to discover some stuff in there not belonging to us. Was not in there this morning and my bin could close. Now it can't close properly. Strange thing is 'this person' threw an invoice in there with a name & address...why would someone drive 7.5km from Marfell just to dump their rubbish in our bin. Seriously.....I feel like driving down there and dumping the rubbish on their front door. After all, I have a name & address. Obviously this person does not even know how to recycle either, dirty tins, kfc dirty packets, human hair...gross man. More red bin rubbish as well. And then next minute I get a warning letter from NPDC for unrecyclable stuff in my bins...So much for being neighbourly on this New Years day.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
