Lunchtime Concert, Karen Clarke, Blues Woman
Karen Clarke, Blues Woman, is the performer at the next Lunchtime Concert in the Methodist Centre (Whiteley Church) on Wednesday 23rd August at 12.15pm. She is known for her onstage warmth, her mahogany vocals and her driving guitar style. Karen will play an easy listening, upbeat selection of rhythm and blues numbers including he own original songs, some developed under mentoring from iconic Kiwi musician, Bic Runga.
Karen shifted to Taranaki from the Kapiti Coast about 10 years ago and is active in our Taranaki music scene as a performer and promoter. Koha appreciated
