As part on a two week campaign called Out On The Shelves promoting LGBT+ books in libraries, Erika and CoCo Flash will be bring those books to life with live readings, games and songs.
Rainbow Storytime Taranaki originally started three years ago by request from South Taranaki Libraries and has grown in popularity as these over the top queens in sequins and organza wow children and adults alike spreading the word of being kind, acceptance, anti-bullying, self confidence and diversity.
From August 17-30 they will start from the South Island and work their way back up NZ in a campervan making their own Priscilla adventures.
They are currently fundraising to help with the expenses and to keep the costs low for the libraries and community groups having them come do the sessions.
