African Drumming workshops
The Performing Arts Collective specialises in cultural performing arts workshops. To kick off the new year, they are happy to host the popular African drumming workshops. The 6 week programme starts on Feb 18 and will run every Tuesday 6-7pm. Drums are provided. No experience is necessary. Costs are $10 a session and the venue is their Carrington Street studio. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
