"That old adage don't leave home until you have seen the country really does apply! "

From stunning golden sand beaches to snow-capped mountains and grade 5 white water rapids why would you want to go anywhere else!? There will be two awesome tour guides to guide you from one amazing location to the next, while making it fun along the way!
When you travel you don’t stay in a cramped hostel in the middle of a city, you can get out into the beautiful New Zealand countryside where you set your tent up beside lakes, oceans and rivers…perfect for an evening bonfire on the beach or a swim in the river.
These student tours are very popular so get in quick! It's an ideal way to experience the "real" New Zealand, try once in a lifetime activities and enjoy loads of free hikes, bike rides and more, with students from around the world! You can join either in Nelson and Christchurch but I'm happy to help arrange your transport to/from other parts of NZ if needed (own cost).
Are you ready for your Ultimate South Island Adventure?

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

DOC is rolling out a new tool to help figure out what to tackle first when it comes to protecting our threatened species and the things putting them at risk.

Why does this matter? As Nikki Macdonald from The Post points out, we’re a country with around 4,400 threatened species. With limited time and funding, conservation has always meant making tough calls about what gets attention first.

For the first time, DOC has put real numbers around what it would take to do everything needed to properly safeguard our unique natural environment. The new BioInvest tool shows the scale of the challenge: 310,177 actions across 28,007 sites.

Now that we can see the full picture, it brings the big question into focus: how much do we, as Kiwis, truly value protecting nature — and what are we prepared to invest to make it happen?

We hope this brings a smile!
