Firewood leftovers
I have the equivalent of a trailer load of douglas fir offcuts and bits left over from my firewood delivery this week. They are too short, long or bitty to stack so I would like to find a home for them and also supplement the cost of my firewood. I would say they are worth $40 but you might like to make me an offer. The bags themselves are not included in the price but the wood is. Phone me on 03 5489400 or 0276522793. Must clear quickly so I can access my carport.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
