Needle Felting for Children (10 years+)
Saturday, 9th March, 2pm to 4pm:
Riverside Education offers a Beginner's Needle Felting Workshop for children and teenagers in Lower Moutere (@ Komitimiti Riverside Cafe Project).
Needle felting is wonderfully forgiving and open to crafters of all skill levels. With just wool, a needle, and foam, your children (10+ years) can join us to create charming keyring animals that showcase their uniqueness.
$10 per child.
Bookings are essential and close Thursday, 7th March at 2pm.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
