This is because the results are used to calculate funding for health services in our region.
"Census results are used by Statistics NZ, who collect and analyse them to help determine the amount of funding we get to deliver health services to Nelson Marlborough people," Dr Bramley says.
"We need every eligible resident to complete the survey and be counted. And if you have the opportunity to support someone to complete the Census, please do so. This is the first NZ Census that has been offered online and some people might not find it as straightforward as others."

Every year we celebrate the Argentine Tango in Nelson. This year Viva la Vaca will join us and be selling delicious Argentinean fare. So come and join us for a fun day for all the family. Entrance off Bridge St, we’ll see you under the big Palm Tree.
If it is a hot day please cover up with a hat, sun screen etc and most of the chairs may be taken by dancers so there will be some rugs on the ground but maybe bringing a portable chair would be a good idea. This event is weather dependant.
See you all on Sat 10 March.

Hi there, I have just discovered a wasp's nest on my/in roof -in a hole in my roof. What to do? Is it just a matter of getting up there with a can of fly/wasp spray and giving it a blast? Bearing in mind that I'm allergic to wasp stings, or do I need a professional? Any ideas?
