GirlGuiding is a fantastic space for young women and girls to meet and socialise with other girls outside of school, feel a sense of belonging, and contribute to their community. The girls learn new skills, learn about their place in the world, and gain a real sense of achievement in earning badges for their efforts. Most importantly – it is a great space for them to be young and just have some fun!

I reported to the area person in charge for the … View moreI am not sure if anyone has been dealing with Nelson City Council (NCC), It has been so frustrated reporting ongoing issue with the public toilets around Tahunanui. NO prompt action has been taken re complaint, it is really concerning/alarming. I reported to the area person in charge for the toilets/park for Tahunanui area on Monday, 9 May until today 16 May, it has NOT been actioned. The toilets have been poorly maintained, not being cleaned on daily basis, toilet papers are not replenished, stink and dirty from floor to toilets. Their cleaning contractor OCS that in charge for Tahuna is really slack and untrustworthy. Money from Rates payers has been wasted as usual. I ran out of idea how to bring this forward so it will not happen again. The only solution now I bring it to public. Anyone care/concern about hygiene/cleanliness at our public toilets in this Covid Endemic? please report it. Do you think these toilets all are okay?

this may save a lot of money getting fixed... i live in a self contained caravan... 2 days b4 heavy rain in richmond..ants invade..2 days ago may solar batteries went dead..so i reached in and turned on the charger. wednesday was beautiful and batteries fully charged but come dark..immediately … View morethis may save a lot of money getting fixed... i live in a self contained caravan... 2 days b4 heavy rain in richmond..ants invade..2 days ago may solar batteries went dead..so i reached in and turned on the charger. wednesday was beautiful and batteries fully charged but come dark..immediately went flat, short circuit, on opening the battery area, i found dead and live ants all over the charger...sprayed fly spray..the did a full power vacumn all over. the charger lights came on and by morning...everything including the computer worked normal. googled ;ants causing shorting' and found that ants can cause these problems.
