Letitia the Lonely Turkey
This is Letitia the Turkey. She was found at the Waimarama Community Gardens and has been hanging out with my chickens. She is desperate for some company as the chickens are a bit scared of her. Do you have a turkey or turkeys that she could come and live with? I am very fond of her – as are other visitors to the Gardens – but for her own well-being it would be better if she could be with her own kind. In the Franklyn village back car park phone Louise 0276025945 probably some poor wee girls Christmas present. I have left out some lettuce and carrots and cucumber in 2 different spots so she doesn’t starve overnight and alerted the SPCA. She or he may need to be trapped. Until we sort this out you can count on me to keep her well fed.
