Babies Toddlers and Children
Parents all want the best for their children, to be able to live a happy, healthy life, pain-free. So when an outer ear infection occurs, you need quick, fast relief from symptoms and pain. At Ear Suction Hawkes Bay Anne has many babies, toddlers and children as clients as they are one of her areas of specialism. Anne is very experienced in dealing with microsuction for children of all ages.
Get fast relief
If you think your child or toddler may have an ear infection, we can assess your child with a quick appointment for treatment. We all know that children love to put things in places they shouldn’t, and foreign objects in ears are also known to cause ear infections. You may not even have seen your child do it, or perhaps while cleaning, the tip of the cotton bud got stuck in their ear. An assessment of the child’s ear with our special equipment can help determine the cause of the infection or whether Outer Ear Infections (Otitis Externa) or Inner Ear Infections (Otitis Media).
Infections
The infection can be cleared out using micro suction technology, the latest safe, efficient and gentle removal of infections. This low-pressure vacuum process clears the infection, removes the build-up of wax in your child’s ear, or the foreign object if that is the case, opening the ear canal.
Medicated drops
It is vital for a child or toddler who has a suspected ear infection to get specially medicated softening drops from their GP to use following their Microsuction session. These will be much more effective with no wax or debris in the outer ear canal.

Homestay Host Families needed
HNHS is in need of him stay host families, short and long term. Including over the Christmas holidays.
Do you have too in your home/family for an international student.
The school pays $320/week (on a fortnightly retroactive basis) for families to provide a home w meals for students from all over the world.
The students have their own allowances to pay for treats, and odds and ends they may need.
Families may need to be able to work with and cater for dietary needs such as lactose intolerance.
