She breaks down the big issues and will shed insight on how much is heading to landfill, the problems with food waste and methane, and what’s working (and not working) with kerbside recycling. Jordy will also talk about product stewardship, the New Zealand Waste Strategy, and how we can all be part of the solution.

MONTHLY NATURE-BASED SPEAKER:
This month Bob Harris, Chairman of the Karituwhenua Stream Landcare Group, will be speaking on the history and future of the Karituwhenua Stream Reserve.
Once a drainage ditch and dumping ground for surrounding developments, it has been developed into one of the most popular walks in Havelock North.
