We had 40 stalls and a big crowd through. Santa was kept very busy and it was lots of fun. In case you missed that market, or maybe didn't get to finish all that Xmas shopping, we have one last market before Xmas at our usual time - 1st December (next Saturday) from 10 - 2. There are still loads of stalls booked, sausage sizzle, Heaven's Bakery caravan on site and even pizza and mini Xmas Mince pies from the kitchen. Santa plans to drop by from 10.30 - 12.30 so come along and buy local, buy quality, buy unique and have lots of fun doing it. There'll also be a Xmas hamper to be won - every purchase gets an entry for the draw.

‼️ Missing ‼️

Our chocolate Labrador has gone missing in the storm tonight. Her name is JEN. Last seen around the house about 7.30pm. We live very close to the road as well and are concerned she’s headed out onto the road.
We live 7km up Puketitiri Road. She is incredibly friendly and will be looking for comfort from the thunder and lightening. Her collar is made of black material and a bit tatty with her registration tag attached. Unfortunately I was putting my son to bed at the time and was unaware of her going missing. Please let me know if you know anything that might help us find her. Many thanks.

A nationwide test of the Emergency Mobile Alert system is happening on Sunday 25 November between 6pm and 7pm.

It doesn’t matter which network you are on. Any capable phone in the target area during the broadcast period should receive the alert

Emergency Mobile Alerts are not meant to replace other emergency alerts, or the need to take action after natural warnings.

You still need to be prepared for an emergency and you should not wait to get an alert before you act. If you feel your life is in danger, don’t wait for an official warning. Take immediate action.
