Do you like to cut fabric
Know anyone who LOVES to cut fabric? Volunteers needed to cut recently donated rolls of curtain fabric. We are busy at the Curtain Bank sewing curtains for winter and need help from NEW volunteers to cut lengths of fabric. We have big tables and sharp scissors ✂️. Old woodern chair
Hi does anyone have any old (can be broken) woodern chairs with the spindle back. Or does anyone have any spindles lying around please they would like to get rid of. Many thanks

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
