NZ Falcon sighting Onekawa
Have just seen a small native NZ falcon eating road kill in Kennedy Road between Onekawa School and Riverbend Road.- seems to be injured as slow to take off. Headed off towards St Patricks School and then lost sight - please keep your eyes open for this special bird as it may need medical attention. Last seen dropping white feathers from the pigeon!!
For anyone who has been to Wingspan in Rotorua - you never forget these beautiful creatures.
