Today's Dunedin Police update
1. A brazen beer burglar has been warned not to drink the experimental booze. Three 24-packs of beers were stolen from a loading dock on Rattray St Dunedin, between 24-27 of August. "The irony of this is that the beer, whoever has taken it, was being tested – and that beer should not be consumed by anybody," Senior Sergeant Trevor Thomson said. "The consumption of it might be detrimental to their health." Read more
2. In Dunedin's student quarter a brazen burglar removed a PlayStation 4 from an unlocked Harbour Tce flat on August 18, between 2-4pm.
3. Over the weekend a person has entered a secured compound at the Green Island Transfer Station, taking a pallet of car batteries, Senior Sergeant Trevor Thomson said.

The Ministry of Social Development is reporting that fake information is circulating about new ‘December bonuses’ or ‘benefit increases’
