I am a new member to Neighbourly
Hello. I live in Hanmer Springs and I provide support to businesses in North Canterbury. Until recently I was the Human Resources Manager for the Heritage Hotel in Hanmer Springs, with more than 8 years experience there. I have been a human resources consultant and owned my own tourism business for more than ten years. Recruitment, the correct process for employers to follow for employing staff with visas, contracts, health and safety can all be quite daunting for small businesses. I am experienced in all these areas. If you have a business need, I am happy to meet with you and to talk (at no cost for the initial meeting), as I may be able to help.
What's your favourite recipe for courgettes?
Kia ora neighbours. If you've got a family recipe for courgettes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our January 2025 issue.
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
