There's only a few differences between our larger chain supermarkets here in New Zealand. Having someone bag your groceries is one of them.
Does having your groceries packed for you at the checkout influence where you do your grocery shop? If so, tell us why.

Hereβs a few tips to help you stay safe, avoid buying stolen property, and not get taken advantage of:
πΈIf it is too good to be true, it probably is, or it could be stolen property.
πΈIf itβs being sold as new, ask for the receipt for the warranty. If they canβt provide it, thatβs a red flag.
πΈCheck the sellerβs profile, is it new or relatively blank?
πΈIf you make a purchase and need to meet somebody to get it, choose somewhere well-lit and well populated in public, near CCTV. If it has to be somebodyβs home, take someone with you and let someone else know where youβre going and when.
πΈBe especially cautious when buying power tools or high-end toy brick building block sets.
Sadly, if you unknowingly buy stolen property, youβre aiding criminals and inadvertently supporting them to steal more.
If you find a suspect listing or social media scam, call 105, or report it with us online at 105.police.govt.nz

The Cambridge Community Charitable Trust has got together with Momentum Waikato, the regionβs community foundation, to establish the Cambridge Community Fund, an endowment that will generate investment income for charitable activities and projects in the Waipa centre.
The Fund was officially launched with a well-attended function at Te Awa Retirement Village on the outskirts of Cambridge on Wednesday 16 October 2024.
Inaugural Fund Champions David Cooney and Kevin Burgess say itβs the ideal scenario β a Cambridge-focused charitable fund enabled by a region-wide philanthropic investment entity.
βThe Cambridge Community Fund is a cost-effective way for local people to leave a legacy forever to their town,β says Kevin, who is well known locally as a pharmacist, trustee on various boards and athletics supporter.
βMoney donated will benefit Cambridge forever, with the partnership with Momentum providing credibility, collegial knowledge, and back office and governance support.

Using your car is convenient, except for finding parking.
Cycling lets you leave anytime, but you might arrive soaked.
So, neighbours, if public transport had the perk of being free, would it be your main way to commute?

In this workshop you will have 3 ceramic baubles to paint however you like. Michelle will then add a satin varnish on top to seal them nicely with a uniform finish, and add a ribbon of your choice.
They will then be ready to collect from The Franklin Art Centre approximately a week later.
Bring yourself, grab a coffee on your way in from the cafe conveniently next to the gallery, and come enjoy some Christmasy treats and other festive elements.
Message from Michelle:
I LOVE Christmas! Everything about it. The food, the smells, the crafts, the tree, the traditions, family and friends. So I've created a fun little workshop for us to get into the festive season.
Take some time out for yourself amongst this crazy end of year season, and join me for a fun festive creative morning, painting your very own ceramic baubles.
Looking forward to having you, being creative together, and getting excited about CHRISTMAS !
