Free training: "Kickstart your Community Led Development"
We've teamed up with Inspiring Communities to offer a free 'Community Led Development’ kickstarter training package with online learning modules and two workshops.
Community Led Development is a leadership style which helps you collaborate, take action, organise groups and grow the skills of people around you. They say "The ‘little things’ we do are often actually the seeds of ‘big things’ in the community."
Register by Saturday 30 November 2024 to take part. Your online modules can be started straight away and are due by the first workshop on Tuesday 18 March 2025. The second workshop is on Tuesday 25 March 2025.
Sound like you? Just email mailroom@wdc.govt.nz to get started. Make sure to include the important words: "Kickstart your CLD"!
