Demographic Advisory Panels
On Monday I spoke to the newly appointed members of Council's demographic advisory panels.
Our advisory panels exist to help ensure that we leave nobody out, that everybody is equally respected and taken into account, and that they can influence and inform the decision-making process.
Thank you to the 326 Aucklanders who applied, and congratualtions to our 45 new appointees. I look forward to working with you.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
