RIP Stainless Steel Sunbeam Frypan

After about 42 years of faithful service (that's about 6,000 meals) my frypan has finally given up. The controller has been repaired a few times but now the insulation around the element has cracked and broken away so it is time to say goodby to a great OZ/NZ manufactured product.

I have looked at current models and am not impressed. Before I am forced to buy what I consider to be an inferior new product (probably a Breville Thermal Pro Stainless rather than the Sunbeam Ellise Stainless Banquet), I thought it worth a shout out to see if anyone has an old Sunbeam stainless unit they may wish to sell or gift.
