For the month of October, we want to see how you tackle emergency preparedness. From getting first aid training and stocking up on essentials to putting together a grab n’ go bag or working with your neighbours to create a neighbourhood resillience plan, a little bit of planning goes a long way to make sure you and your community can get through any situation. Joining or setting up a Neighbourhood Support group is a great way to keep in touch and work together to reach out, look out and help out one another no matter what life may bring.
Don’t forget! This month also coincides with New Zealand’s national earthquake drill and tsunami hikoi, ShakeOut, which will be taking place on Thursday, October 28th at 9:30am.
Let us know how you’re getting prepared this month by tagging us in your social media posts or emailing us your photos, videos, or experiences to: info@neighbourhoodsupport.co.nz

I bought an item that was faulty. after 6 months (approximately) toing and froing on phone and e-mail, they agreed to refund the item. continuing interactions got me just stalling from them. two years later they still haven't refunded me. There is no disagreement to take to the small claims tribunal, as they have agreed to refund the purchase price. They just have not done so.
In checking with the Justice Department and Consumer Affairs, there doesn’t seem to be any mechanism to compel payment.

Hi, I need to point out that the shop in Masterton are only agents for Jaycar and aren't part of teh Jaycar firm. It is the online firm Jaycar that is the problem, Not Electric Blue, the shop in Masterton. I too have found Electric Blue good to deal with. They are not teh online firm.

"We were bought to SPCA because our family could no longer care for us. We are now looking for a home together. Eddie and Valerie are sweet guinea pigs who love their food.
We are very sweet to watch, and are getting better at being handled, but we really don't like it, like most guinea pigs. We will need a large grassy area with a weatherproof hutch for day time. At night, we will need to be inside with you as part of your family so will need an area inside your home. It will need to be large enough for us to fit comfortably for the night, or for days when the weather is just too awful to be outside in. If that sounds like your set-up, please get in touch with our Small Animal Team for an appointment."
