Lower Hutt’s New Property Revaluation Completed

Caryn Ellis from Hutt City Council

Every three years, Quotable Value (QV) is required to give us a new valuation for all properties in Lower Hutt, including businesses.
This means that the capital value of some homes has changed (this happens all over New Zealand).

Next week you will receive a letter that will tell you the new land and capital value of your home. If you don’t agree, you can object. There’s information on how to do that on the back of the letter.

For more information, check out the links below.

Mei Leng Wong Reporter from NZ Gardener & Get Growing

Once again, Resene and NZ Gardener are on the hunt for New Zealand’s best shed! Send in the photos and the stories behind your man caves, she sheds, clever upcycled spaces, potty potting sheds and colourful chicken coops. To enter, tell us in writing (no more than 500 words) why your garden shed is New Zealand’s best, and send up to five high-quality photos by email to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz.
