Wainui Walking & Running Club - Orienteering this Saturday 10th September
Club orienteering event this Saturday 10th September. This year our orienteering event will be held at Remutaka Forest Park, Coast Road. We will park at the end carpark, and wander down towards the bridge (to the left of the carpark) where we will meet at 1.30pm by the picnic table. This will be the start and finish point.
This event involves using a map and following clues to find markers around the various tracks around the Catchpool Valley area. This is a team event so you don't have to work anything out on your own. Points will be awarded based on how well your team does, bring some picnicky type food to have while waiting for the points and places to be determined.
