Silverstream Landfill: 2 days public access for urgent waste.
Silverstream Landfill generally remains closed for domestic waste drop offs during Covid-19 alert level 3. On Sunday 10 and on Sunday 17 May 2020, the landfill will be open to public customers to dispose of urgent domestic waste between 9am and 5pm. Payment will only be accepted by Paywave credit or debit cards. Physical distancing of at least 2 metres will be required at all times.
Please note that we expect that this will be a very busy day at Silverstream Landfill and there may be significant queues. Therefore, if your waste is not urgent, please refrain from attending the landfill.
