Hello, submissions for the Proposed Control of Alcohol in Public Places Bylaw are due by 28 October.
This Bylaw sets permanent alcohol free zones and a ban on the consumption of alcohol in any particular area between 9pm and 5am.
It’s important we hear from our community on this, please make a submission.
Information on making a submission is available on Council’s website: www.huttcity.govt.nz...
and includes :
• Maps showing areas proposed as alcohol free zones
• An online submission form.
(You can also email or write in without using the form, please provide your contact details and indicate whether or not you wish to speak to your submission.)
The information and submission forms are also in our libraries and at the Council building on Laings Road.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

26.3% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
14.3% ... It is complicated
