Loud Shirt Day is a great way to commit serious fashion crimes and have a whole lot of fun. It’s also one of the main walking access routes into Akatarawa Forest so respect all signage as some of the walk is on private land.
No dogs are allowed due to farming and people should also watch out for vehicles, logging trucks and mountain bikers, although with 15,000 hectares in this park there is plenty of room for everyone.
