Proposed motorway onramp closure
The New Zealand Transport Agency and Hutt City Council are consulting on a proposal to close the onramp from Grounsell Crescent, Belmont, to the northbound lanes of State Highway 2.
The proposal is a result of high speeds and traffic volumes on Grounsell Crescent and the number of crashes in in the area.
