Water tasting a bit funny this weekend?
Following a positive indicator from a water sample test result, Wellington Water added chlorine to the Lower Hutt water supply network. Adding chlorine is a precautionary measure only, and no further issue was found when testing the water. The water is completely safe to drink and use, and should return to normal taste as the chlorinated water works its way out of the water supply system by Monday morning.
