About 70 of Metlink’s 500 bus drivers are aged 70 or over and in accordance with the Ministry of Health guidelines, they are advised to remain at home. Less drivers means there will need to be cancellations to some services across the bus network.
We are currently looking at where cancellations will need to take place and are encouraging Metlink customers to keep up to date with service changes by checking Metlink’s website, App and Real Time Information screens.

We will now be operating non-contact support system, care packages are available to those who are truly in NEED.
We can only continue to make up these care packages with donations. It is appreciated if you can message when you are wanting to donate and you leave them on the doorstep. This way we will know something is to be delivered and ensure it is bought in within a timely manner and distributed correctly.
Clothing and toy/book donations are also still welcome as long as they are CLEAN and in good condition! These will still be outside to help yourselves to when we have items.
Thank you all for your understanding and continued support x

It's the food staple of 2 pet bunnies, 1 rescue bunny residing with HUHA & 5 rescued guinea pigs. I do go foraging but am unable to find it. Does anyone have a fairly unlimited supply I can forage/buy every week? Supermarket produce is limited and mostly not suitable for them, and the Hutt City Council is rapidly leveling the good forage spots that have not been weed-sprayed.

These are some peaches from a fence overhang in Naenae that we've just dried. Been seeing a lot of fruit on trees around the place and had this idea. If you have a fruit tree in your back yard and would like to preserve what's on it, we'll dry it for you.
This can be done as a contactless thing: You just slice your fruit thinly (remove stones or cores first), bring it round in a container that you leave on our doorstep and txt to say it's there. We'll then put it in the dehydrator and txt to let you know when it's done and you can collect it.
Now, our dehydrator is old, like 1990s old, so we will not only be taking on the cost of running it but also the fire risk too lol.
If you want your fruit dried as part of your provisions for the coming weeks, giz a bell or txt on 0211882679. Or PM but I don't get on to messages as fast, txt or call is better.
