Is anyone else in the general vicinity of the Fig Tree Cafe being driven mad by this random humming noise last 2 nights?

Last night (Sunday) at around 11.50pm heard four distinct "bangs" in methodically quick succession. The "bangs" sounded very much like a gun being fired. and came from maybe Freeman's Way/Blue Mountains Road/ Pinehaven Road.
Didn't hear any sound of a vehicle.
