That along with a whole bunch of wire thats destroyed my mower blade. I pulled the stuff in the photo out of the grass under one of my tree's and from around the base of a utilities pole while mowing .

What's the traffic like in your city? The good, the bad, and the ugly of the Wellington region's transport has been laid bare in a council report, which will be presented to the region's mayors this week.

The report found that traffic entering Wellington during the morning peak was travelling at an average speed of 35.4kmh, while evening traffic heading out was hitting 39.7kmh. That's the slowest recorded speed since 2014! To read more about this, click here.

Melting roads pose potential safety hazard

Bitumen tracking is when melted chip-seal binder is spread across the surface of the road. Recent tests show tracking makes the road more slippery.
