My first priorities are implementing a 2x wheelie-bin recycling system, and investigating cost savings through council rubbish bins & organic/composting bins too. Getting the basics right, the nice new facilities are nice to have, but we need to ensure the core council services aren't neglected.
In this years election, you will get to select SIX city-wide candidates (as well as one ward councillor). By putting your trust in me, you will be supporting a candidate with strong family values, an eye for thinking outside of the box, and using technology to make the council more effective.
I would be very grateful for your support to make Lower Hutt an even better place to live, work and play for everyone.
Please feel free to ask me any questions :) I will also be doing a weekly Q&A for the next two weeks of the elections (and at least once a month if I am elected, keeping you in the loop with what the council is up to)

Duels, duplicities and disguises abound in Sheridan’s timeless comedy, The Rivals. Its whirlwind plot revolves around the bookishly romantic Lydia Languish, who adores her lover when she thinks he is a poor ensign but is appalled when he turns out to be a well -connected Captain. Adding to complications, Lydia finds herself beset on all sides by a retinue of eccentric, bumbling suitors and stymied at every turn by her overbearing, formidable and linguistically-challenged aunt, Mrs Malaprop.
