Naenae pool plans unveiled
The first look at the proposed design for the Naenae Pool and Fitness suite is here!
Before we get into detailed design and begin construction, we want to check in with everyone who will be using the pool to make sure we're delivering the best facility possible β for Naenae and Te Awakairangi.
In this draft design, you'll notice features that reflect what the community and aquatic sports users told us they wanted. We're;
πββοΈ Keeping the 50-metre pool;
π making sure the facility is a place for birthdays, special occasions, and the building is accessible; and
π΄ moving the site position in Walter Mildenhall park to better connect it with Hillary Court.
This is your chance to give feedback so we can ensure this plan for the pool reflects your needs! Let us know what you think π

Poll: Would you use a pet cemetery?
Dave Stephens has created a pet cemetery on his land.
The 10-acre site in Albany, Auckland, features graves nestled among beautifully manicured gardens and unique art pieces, offering a serene space where visitors can pay their respects in their own way.
