Hello neighbours! I am standing as a candidate for Waikato Regional Council in the Waikato constituency. I hold a long history of governance, including my role as Chair of the WRC Lower Waikato Zone Committee.
Guardianship of our region demands that we have a vision to balance the needs of society and the environment, and to generate wealth for all our communities and whanau.
As a councillor, my aim would be to work relentlessly to drive accountability, value authentic science and represent all people with equality, honesty and integrity.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
