Local blogger Bill Barclay had the initial “scoop” about an LGNZ legal opinion from a QC which says it’s only a matter of time before local councils will be sued for inaction on climate change. Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
