The company is looking for people to audition for its musical production Sister Act.
The musical, based on the 1992 Whoopi Goldberg film, features music by Tony and Oscar winner Alan Menken and will be directed by Stephen Robertson with musical direction by Michael Buick.
Invercargill Musical Theatre vice president Bernadette Gourley said despite having different music the production still had a diva and soul sister feel.

Our Annual Street Appeal this year will be held from 27th February – 05th March and I invite you to support our appeal by giving up two hours of your time to collect of us on either Thursday 02nd or Friday 03rd March.
Our sites will be open between 8:30am and 5pm.

The council had been notified about at least six cars that had been dumped in Invercargill since Christmas, he said.
