Last night my wife was woken at about midnight by fireworks.
Is this a good reason to ban public sales of fireworks?

While practising at an athletics club meet in Dunedin in December 2016, two weeks before she was to compete at the National Championships, Jessica strained the ligaments in her arm around her elbow.
