BEFORE YOU PAY A DEPOSIT
We have received a number of inquiries relating to deposits paid for goods and services. In one case a tradesperson did not show up and the deposit was not refunded.
Some clients have paid cash and have not received a receipt, while others have paid a 50% deposit on a fixed quote given over the phone. When the tradesperson visited the site they discovered they did not have the skills to perform the task and had under-quoted.
