In this present age
'In this present age, people have very short lives and a multitude of wild thoughts and gross afflictive emotions. We compound this by frittering away our lives in superficial, theoretical study. But the essence of the Dharma is to actually practice it and achieve inner realization. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, on 'Discipline' in 'Zurchungpa's Testament', p. 129, Shambhala.
