Neighbourhood Support -

Kristi Neighbourly Lead from Tikipunga

⭐ The Joy of Sharing - Reaching out, giving back, and helping others during the holiday season. ⭐

This month we want to challenge Neighbourhood Supporters to come together and share generously from the heart this holiday season. With so much going on at this time of year it’s easy to get caught up in the festivities and forget about others, especially those having a difficult time.

Why not join for free - please click onto: www.whangarei.getsready.net...

Whether it’s an elderly neighbour who lives alone, or a family on your street working hard to make ends meet, reach out to someone who could use a little extra joy in their life and remind them what the holiday spirit is all about!

Other ideas include fundraising for a local charity, doing a food or toy drive, organising a ‘Secret Santa’ gift exchange on your street, giving a present to a neighbour who helped to make your year better, or even host a community Christmas lunch.

Let us know how you’re embracing the joy of sharing by tagging us in your posts!

Have a safe and kind Merry Christmas 2024 from the Whangarei Area Neighbourhood Support.

Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

A man was found dead with a cassette recorder in one hand and a gun in the other.

We're talking new year resolutions...

Tidying the house before going to bed each night, meditating upon waking or taking the stairs at work.

What’s something quick, or easy, that you started doing that made a major positive change in your life?
