Our next meeting is on Wednesday 10th March 2021. The doors open at 1pm, and the meeting starts at 1.30pm. March's theme(s) for display are the Letter N or Fantasy. As usual we will be keen to see what you have to share in Items of Interest. Our guest speaker in March is Michael Hill, and he will be talking on the UPU (Universal Postal Union). Gold coin entry at the Whangarei Theatre Company's premises on Reyburn House Lane, Town Basin, Whangarei.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
